What it is
A small plastic squeeze bottle shaped like a fat pen, made by Shimomura in Japan. You fill it with batter and draw lines and shapes on the pan before filling them in.
Why it’s weird
It is a pen whose only ink is pancake batter, built so breakfast can become a drawing.
Who it’s for
Parents making weekend breakfast with kids, pancake art hobbyists, and fans of Japanese kitchen gadgets.
